This patient arrived at our office with a broken tooth that was causing discomfort and affecting their ability to chew. In the past, this would have required a messy impression, a temporary crown, and a two-week wait for a lab to finish the work. However, utilizing our in-house CEREC technology, Dr. Shirman was able to digitally scan the tooth (no goopy trays!) and design a custom porcelain crown right here in the office. The patient watched their new tooth being milled and walked out with a permanent, high-strength restoration in just one appointment.
